Hi Andreas,
Can you please clarify this?
Note I have also submitted a possible patch to the libacl, in case we do not want to put this functionality to gnulib.
Afaik you are also maintainer of libacl... right?
Thanks
Ondrej

This was due to a 2015 patch by Andreas Gruenbacher:

https://jpn01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgit.savannah.gnu.org%2Fcgit%2Fgnulib.git%2Fcommit%2F%3Fid%3Dda6ebc941e966141e83591408545224274d0cf0f&data=05%7C01%7Condrej.valousek.xm%40renesas.com%7C8724fa8cc33f4ca6bcf008dabb773c80%7C53d82571da1947e49cb4625a166a4a2a%7C0%7C0%7C638028418039903659%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=pzxIX7lwx2LtOZOXLoAQ%2F91m37qRiiVWsyKpvtt9iIQ%3D&reserved=0

that in hindsight was perhaps a mistake. I'll cc Andreas. Andreas, this thread is rooted here:
