I came here as someone who is new to sox, to get help with a single line of code.

A simple modification

I was originally told that the echo was unnecessary even though it is key to what I wanted sox to do. I assumed that this was just a misunderstanding tried again.
I now find myself criticised because sox can not do, on its own. That which I intend to do with a chain of programs. With sox handling the audio input.
Given I am a slow typist I give up
