Hi fellow Soxers,
I discovered that sox v14.4.1 on Debian testing does not read .w64 audio
files. I get
sox FAIL formats: can't open input file `whatever.w64': Error in W64 file. No 'data' chunk marker.
or
sox FAIL formats: can't open input file `whatever.wav': WAVE: RIFF header not found
for a w64 file with .wav extension.
I did not find a reference to this problem in the mailing list archives
yet. Is this known? Is there a solution?
Thank you all!
Peter
