Date: Thu, 03 Jul 2014 03:14:53 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <redmine.journal-47577.20140703031453.5fef3908132724f9@ruby-lang.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: redmine.issue-9876.20140529052646@ruby-lang.org

Issue #9876 has been updated by Tomoyuki Chikanaga.

Category set to lib
Status changed from Open to Assigned
Assignee set to Keiju Ishitsuka

----------------------------------------
Bug #9876: IRB::Context output_method is not used
https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/9876#change-47577

* Author: Greg Hazel
* Status: Assigned
* Priority: Normal
* Assignee: Keiju Ishitsuka
* Category: lib
* Target version:
* ruby -v: 2.0.0p451
* Backport: 2.0.0: UNKNOWN, 2.1: UNKNOWN
----------------------------------------
IRB::Context takes an optional output_method, but it is never used. IRB::Irb.output_value, and IRB::Irb.eval_input call print / printf directly, which always goes to STDOUT.
