Thank you. I will try this. I also plan to (1) try installation with
tcl/tk installed in /usr/local/ and (2) retry installation with Elliot
Hughes' patch (which uses tcl/tk installed in Mac OS X's
/Library/Frameworks).
Are you using Mac OS X and, if so, have you been able to get the
various Ruby GUI libraries working on Mac OS X?
