Subject: automating "git fetch"? (code and inboxes)

Hey all, I'm wondering how you folks update code repositories.

Manual "git fetch" invocations?
Or automated with crontabs/systemd timers/etc...?

I'm wondering how/if lei could work with auto-fetching external
public-inboxes (and perhaps code repositories, too, since we
rely on them for "lei rediff").
