Looking for an OSHW+FOSS GPS or GPS+transmitter tracker does anyone know of any? The best i could find atm are:
- Ai-Thinker A9G
Neither of which has libre firmware that i could see..
Usecase is adding that to my escooter and to friend's portable gaming console so that the device can be located and retrieved in case of a theft so ideally it should include a reliable transmitter, but that can be a separate solution as it seems impossible to get a 4G thing and i am not sure if things such as NB,LoRa, etc.. can be reliable for tracking in the EU.
