Subject: Please recommend usable DNS for privacy, security, anti-pornography filter
Date: Sun, 17 Jul 2022 14:14:39 -0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87a69764qo.fsf@disr.it> (raw)

Hello fellow activists! I hope this is not off-topic. I want
recommendations of DNS services providing security (anti-malware
filter), anti-pornography filter, and privacy. For privacy, it should
not track me, and it should block tracker domains. Great performance is
also desired, but a lower priority.

It should be, at least, moderately easy and quick to set up. I am a
moderately skilled GNU/Linux user: I installed my Debian bullseye by
netinst, then manually installed GNU Guix package manager; and I use GNU
Emacs *a lot*. However, I lack detailed networking knowledge.

I currently use AdGuard Family protection service: 94.140.14.15,
94.140.15.16, 2a10:50c0::bad1:ff, 2a10:50c0::bad2:ff.  This week a
couple of Brazilian free software activists mentioned they use
Cloudflare DNS (and it has a family option), so I decided to ask here
for recommendations.

Regards
