Here are the topics that have been cooking in my tree. Commits
prefixed with '-' are only in 'seen' (which collects random set of
topics that are not yet in 'next') while commits prefixed with '+'
are in 'next'. The ones marked with '.' do not appear in any of the
integration branches, but I am still holding onto them.
Git 2.32 is out.
As usual, we'll see if people notice brown-paper-bag bugs and deal
with them, merge down topics that have been cooking in 'next' from
simpler and obvious topics to more complex ones, and once 'next'
gets depleted, rewind its tip and take more topics to it. Hopefully
all of that will happen by sometime in the middle of week #2 of the
next cycle (cf. https://tinyurl.com/gitCal).

Per the note on the last What's Cooking I think this is ready[2], and
it's been in next for a ~week already.
So just a note to update the status of this, and since
ab/describe-tests-fix & ab/pickaxe-pcre2 would then be un-blocked by

I have not gotten to debugging this yet, which'll require me to find
some 32 bit machine to reproduce the issue, except I can't on the 32 bit
machines I've tried so far.

BTW, Ævar, are you planning to fix other -O3 problems? I happened to
notice some today. One is new in pu (and I sent a message in that
thread), but two are older. See this message from last year:

There hasn't been much of anything new in pu for a while :)
But no, please beat me to it. That trace2 one was a one-off I was
tackling because I ran into it when compiling revisions under -O3 with
t/perf/.
