Subject: [PATCH 000/139] [PULL] Update ab/i18n
Date: Tue, 14 Sep 2010 16:00:18 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1284480018-20874-1-git-send-email-avarab@gmail.com> (raw)
Please pull an updated ab/i18n. The version you have now should be
ejected in favor of it:
git://github.com/avar/git.git ab/i18n
http://github.com/avar/git/compare/386916ba...ab/i18n
http://github.com/avar/git/compare/386916ba...ab/i18n.patch
It's based on top of master + the "tests: use test_cmp instead of
piping to diff(1)" commit, but it'll apply to master without the
latter with `git am -3`.
It has the following fixes since the version that's in pu now:
* Included the "Makefile: only add gettext tests on
XGETTEXT_INCLUDE_TESTS=YesPlease" patch previously sent to list,
and rewrote all the non-is.po po/*.po commits so that they don't
contain the TEST strings anymore.
* Un-gettextized the "add" and "add -f" strings in wt-status.c as
reported by Peter Krefting in "[PATCH 1/2] Command names should
not be translated"
* Added 40 new patches (already sent as an RFC/PATCH to list) that
gettextize git-(pull|submodule|stash|bisect). The diff --stat for
these is:
git-bisect.sh | 84 ++++++++++++++----------
git-pull.sh | 147 ++++++++++++++++++++++++-----------------
git-stash.sh | 75 +++++++++++++--------
git-submodule.sh | 94 ++++++++++++++-------------
t/t7400-submodule-basic.sh | 4 +-
t/t7401-submodule-summary.sh | 12 ++--
t/t7407-submodule-foreach.sh | 4 +-
7 files changed, 238 insertions(+), 182 deletions(-)
* Did some minor rewording of existing commit messages, e.g. "Add
infrastructure for translating Git with gettext" is now "gettext:
add infrastructure for translating Git with gettext". This makes
it easier to --grep the commits by subsystem.
* Note that the series has the follownig git diff --check issues:
git-am.sh:120: indent with spaces.
+ cannot_fallback "$(gettext "Did you hand edit your patch?
git-bisect.sh:117: indent with spaces.
+ die "$(eval_gettext "'\$arg' does not appear to be a valid revision")"
git-bisect.sh:190: indent with spaces.
+ revs=$(git rev-list "$arg") || die "$(eval_gettext "Bad rev input: \$arg")" ;;
These aren't my fault, I had to modify some code that was already
indenting with spaces.
